Illia Tishchenko is a dedicated professional with a robust background in law enforcement, customs administration, and community engagement. Holding advanced degrees in Law and Economics from Ukraine, he has transitioned his expertise to enrich Manitoba’s communities.

As a Chief Inspector with Ukraine's Customs Service, Illia excelled in enforcing regulations, risk assessments, and fostering international cooperation. His prior experience as a Police Officer reflects his steadfast commitment to public safety and justice.

In Canada, Illia serves as a Coordinator for a non-profit organization, leading volunteer recruitment and training while actively contributing to education, cultural preservation, and newcomer support. He also serves on a community center board, supporting strategic initiatives and promoting physical fitness through basketball activities.

Currently pursuing French studies at the University of Saint-Boniface, Illia is committed to fostering inclusivity and cross-cultural understanding, aligning with Mosaic’s mission to empower newcomers and build welcoming communities.
