HIPPY is a free home visiting program for families with children ages 3 to 5. The program helps parents build the skills and confidence to support their child’s learning and prepare them for school.
Eligibility
- The child must be 3 to 5 years old.
- The parent or primary caregiver must be a Permanent Resident (PR) of Canada to register.
Through HIPPY, families receive:
- Weekly home visits with a trained Home Visitor.
- Fun learning activities to do at home.
- Activity packs, children’s books, and learning materials.
- Group gatherings where parents can connect with other families.
- Information about community programs and services.
HIPPY helps children build early learning skills while supporting parents to feel more confident, connected, and involved in their community.
