This program provides fun ideas for how to promote early literacy and use stories to guide your child, also as we share stories and learn how to use them as you raise your children in the values that are most important to your family and culture.

Financial Literacy workshops
This series of workshops help families build and protect wealth by providing accessible financial education and guidance that moves people from financial insecurity toward financial independence.
Mosaic Family Place: Stay and Play (Drop-in)
Open to all families who would like to participate and spend time together with their children in a fun, creative and engaging way. It is also a way to meet new friends and get to know the resources available in the community.
Mini Gym for Kids (Drop-in)
This space was created to support movement, play, and connection, and it was wonderful to see it come to life. Thank you to the Ground Up Grant and our dedicated staff for making this welcoming space possible for families and young children in our community to play, connect, and thrive.
Series of Presentations
Join us for weekly workshops to help us each make healthy life choices for our children, ourselves and our planet. We will learn about: Dressing for winter. Getting around in Winnipeg: biking, walking, taking a bus or sharing a ride. Protecting our environment by recycling, reducing and reusing.
Information sessions for integration and adaptation
In partnership with Aurora Family Therapy Centre Series of presentations that cover Canadian norms and social expectations to support newcomer families to settle in a new country.
Free cycling classes for newcomer women

Community Engagement
Acknowledges cultural diversity and encourages participants to share their culture while learning about others. Participants may present their cultures through playing cultural games, cooking and baking, arts and crafts, singing and storytelling.
Positive Foundations in Everyday Parenting
Are you expecting a baby, planning to have a baby in the future, or the parent/caregiver of a newborn? Join us for this five-session program to learn all about the joys and challenges of being a new parent.
Family Engagement Mentorship (FEM) Program
The Family Engagement Mentorship (FEM) Program is a 170-hour volunteer practicum designed to help newcomer individuals gain practical experience, build professional skills, and prepare for employment in early years and family-serving organizations.
